2024 ELCA Youth Gathering

July 14-21, 28, 2024 | Our high schoolers (students in grades 8-12 in Fall 2023) will be going to the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans!

Please sign up here to ensure you have a spot in our group on the ELCA Youth Gathering.

Dates: Please block off July 14-21 and July 28 on your calendar. The Youth Gathering goes from July 16-20 and the exact days of the trip will depend on our method of transportation to the youth gathering. Those who attend will be sharing about the youth gathering in church on July 28.

Cost: We hope to ask each participant to contribute $400 towards the cost of going to the youth gathering. Final cost will depend on the cost of transportation, accommodations, and how much money we fundraise. That said, WE DO NOT WANT MONEY TO BE AN OBSTACLE FOR ANYONE TO ATTEND. If you need additional financial help to make the youth gathering possible, please speak with Pr. Kevin

Informational Meetings: Please plan to attend one of two informational meetings for the youth gathering:
Sunday, August 27 at 11 AM (after worship) at Atonement
Wednesday, August 30 at 7 PM on Zoom.

MYLE, the tAble, and the Young Adult Gathering
Along with the the ELCA Youth Gathering, there are three other opportunities connected to the ELCA Youth Gathering:
1) Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE)--For students of color and whose primary language is not English
2) the tAble--For students with disabilities
3) Young Adult Gathering--For people ages 18-35. This is a great opportunity for those whose couldn't attend the youth gathering when in high school due to COVID!

Please complete and submit the Youth Participant Registration Worksheet. This is a form provided by ELCA Youth Gathering and every participant is expected to complete this form.

You can either submit this form by uploading it below, dropping off a physical copy of the form at Atonement's office, or emailing it to kevin@atonementmuskego.org

Deposit
A $200 deposit is required to secure your place at the Youth Gathering. You can either pay online by card or by cash or check.

We hope that the total cost will be about $400. The final cost will be determined by cost for transportation to/from the Youth Gathering and the amount of support fundraised.
